Refund Policy
This refund policy applies to all services offered on the AIR PARAPENTE CHAMBÉRY website, operated by Emmanuel Cachau-Herreillat, a paragliding instructor practicing as a freelance professional.
Its objective is to define clearly and transparently the conditions for cancellation, postponement and refund of services booked online or paid for in person.
1. General principle
The services offered are leisure activities provided on a specific date or during a specific period and are subject to weather and safety conditions.
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, they are not subject to the right of withdrawal.
All reservations constitute a firm commitment from the Client under the conditions defined below.
2. Cancellation by the Client
2.1 Cancellation more than 24 hours before the service
The Client can cancel their reservation up to 24 hours before the scheduled date and time of the service.
In this case, the Client has the following options:
a postponement of the service to a later date, subject to availability; or
a full refund of the sums paid.
2.2 Cancellation less than 24 hours before the service
Any cancellation made less than 24 hours before the service, as well as any no-show by the Client, will result in:
the absence of reimbursement;
the service being due in full.
3. Cancellation or postponement by the Service Provider
The Service Provider reserves the right to cancel or postpone a service at no cost to the Client in the following cases:
adverse weather conditions;
safety requirements;
force majeure.
In these situations, the Client may choose between:
a free postponement of the service to a later date; or
a full refund of the sums paid.
No additional compensation can be claimed.
4. Reimbursement terms
Refunds are made via the same payment method used for the booking, unless otherwise agreed.
The refund will be issued within a maximum of 14 days from the date the cancellation is validated.
5. Special cases
If the service is interrupted or shortened for reasons beyond the Provider's control (changing weather conditions, security decision), a partial or full refund may be considered.
